CBS has released the trailer for upcoming psychological mystery Evil and in it, we see the line between science and faith being explored.

From Robert and Michelle King (The Good Wife), Evil focuses on a skeptical female psychologist who joins a priest-in-training and a carpenter as they investigate the Church’s backlog of unexplained mysteries, including supposed miracles, demonic possessions, and hauntings. Their job is to assess if there is a logical explanation or if something truly supernatural is at work.

The series stars Katja Herbers (Westworld), Mike Colter (Marvel’s Luke Cage), Aasif Mandvi (The Brink), Michael Emerson (Lost), Brooklyn Shuck (Rise), Skylar Gray (Me, Myself & I), and Dalya Knapp (Gracie’s Keeper).

Evil is set to air Thursdays at 10:00 this fall on CBS. You can check out the network’s full fall schedule here, as well as the rest of its trailers here.
