While the original Doom Patrol comic book characters like Elasti-Woman, Negative Man, Robotman, and Niles Caulder will be seen in the upcoming DC Universe live action series which premieres on February 15, as well as Crazy Jane from the Grant Morrison run, news came from today’s session at the Television Critics Association Press Tour that some other comic book favorites from the series’ history will be seen on the show.

“I think the show is dipping into different versions of the Doom Patrol from the years,” Executive Producer and showrunner Jeremy Carver said during the panel.

“A great jumping off point is the Grant Morrison run in the ’90s [and] we dip into the Silver Age where we are seeing the Celsius and Lodestone characters. We’re going to see some other characters that have graced over the years, such as Danny the Street. We’re going to see one of my more beloved characters, the Beard Hunter. In terms of where we’re going with the storyline, we’d rather let the story grow itself week to week, and let the fans discover the show for themselves,” he continued.

Doom Patrol premieres February 15 on DC Universe. Stay tuned to KSiteTV and follow @DoomPatrolTV on Twitter for more coverage of the series in the coming days!
