Syfy has released new footage from upcoming space drama Nightflyers, as well as a first look at its adaptation of Deadly Class.
Based on the George R. R. Martin novella and developed for television by Jeff Buhler (The Midnight Meat Train), Nightflyers follows a group of maverick scientists and a powerful telepath in 2093 as they embark on an expedition toward making contact with mysterious alien life. While on the way, though, a series of violent events causes the group to become more paranoid and begin distrusting one another.
The series stars Eoin Macken (The Night Shift), Sam Strike (EastEnders), Maya Eshet (Teen Wolf), Angus Sampson (Fargo), Jodie Turner-Smith (The Last Ship), Gretchen Mol (Boardwalk Empire), David Ajala (Falling Water), and Brian F. O’Byrne (Million Dollar Baby).

Nightflyers and Deadly Class join a scripted slate for Syfy that includes Krypton, The Magicians, Channel Zero, Van Helsing, Wynonna Earp, Killjoys, and Z Nation.
Nightflyers is set to premiere this fall on Syfy, with Deadly Class coming in 2019.
