According to The Hollywood Reporter, Revenge alum Gabriel Mann is set to recur on upcoming USA period drama Damnation. He’ll be playing brilliant visionary Martin Eggers Hyde, a man of refinement, intelligent, and wit.
From Tony Tost (Longmire), Damnation tells the story of Seth Davenport (Killian Scott), a man pretending to be a small-town preacher in Iowa. He hopes to begin stoking the fires of insurrection against the repressive status quo that smothers the town, but his hopes at revolution are quelled by the presence of professional strikebreaker Creeley Turner (Logan Marshall-Green), a man bound and determined to stop the uprising by any means necessary.
In addition to his role on the ABC soap, Mann’s television credits include Ray Donovan, Rush Hour, and The Mysteries of Laura. He joins a cast that includes Sarah Jones (Alcatraz), Chasten Harmon (BrainDead), Christopher Heyerdahl (Hell on Wheels), and Joe Adler (Grey’s Anatomy).
Damnation is set to premiere this October on USA. You can check out a teaser below.
