Stacey Farber Cast In The CW’s Cult

Stacey Farber, who as "Ellie" was one of the best parts of the early seasons of Degrassi: The Next Generation, has joined the cast of The CW's Cult.

Stacey will be playing a character named "E.J." On her Twitter feed, this is how she described her:

"I look a bit like Ellie circa season 2 (plus tats, a nose ring, purple hair & 10 years of life)."

Ellie premiered on Degrassi in Season 2 and quickly became a fan favorite through several seasons and  a major role in Degrassi Goes Hollywood. The photo to your right is a shot of Farber from her very first Degrassi episode, way back in 2002. After leaving Degrassi, Farber starred in the series 18 To Life.

There has been no word yet on if it is a recurring role or just a one-shot deal. Stacey joins fellow Degrassi alums Shanae Grimes, Nina Dobrev, and Cassie Steele, who also have shows on the network. Who's next? Alicia Josipovic, it's your move...

Cult premieres midseason on The CW.

  1. Just a heads up, the CW released an Extended promo with a bunch of new clips that explain the show much more clearly in their 2012 Fall Preview video on the CW's website. Cult's at the end of the preview.

It was much better than the trailer that had been released a few months ago.

  2. ZmaX, thanks :) I did Tweet about it earlier on the KSiteTV Twitter feed: http://twitter.com/KSiteTV Just hadn't mentioned it on the site yet because I'm waiting for a Youtube version with an embed, or something.

  3. oh okay, that's cool :)

yeah, I was disappointed they didn't have have it up on their YouTube page. I guess they feel it's too early for a mid-season series, even though it would be beneficial to the show :/
