Warner Bros. Television digital studio Blue Ribbon Content has ordered two new live-action series from Verizon, it was announced today at the Television Critics’ Association press tour.

“With a cast list as diverse as puppies, cats and rampaging critters, these two new shows are perfect examples of the unexpected and dynamic programming we aim to produce at Blue Ribbon Content,” said Peter Girardi, Executive Vice President, Blue Ribbon Content, and Executive Vice President, Alternative Programming, Warner Bros. Animation. “Verizon has been a great partner, and we can’t wait for audiences to dive into these stories.”

Produced by Conan O’Brien’s Conaco LLC (People of Earth), Golden Revenge is a comedy that follows three pets as they attempt to exact revenge on those who left them for dead. The series is written by Tom Stern and Josh Gardner (Saul of the Mole Men). Meanwhile, Critters: A New Binge, a series adaptation of the film series of the same name, find the critters returning to Earth in search of one of their kin. It comes from Jordan Rubin, Jon Kaplan, and Al Kaplan (Zombeavers).

Set to begin production later this year, both Golden Revenge and Critters join a slate for Blue Ribbon that includes sports-themed Now We’re Talking and upcoming digital feature Good Girls Get High.
