One of the most popular actors to ever play Batman will be portraying the character in live action for the first time in this Fall’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover.
Today at the Television Critics Association press tour, it was announced that Kevin Conroy, who first played Batman over 25 years ago in Batman: The Animated Series, will be featured in the DC TV Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover airing on The CW later this year. He will be playing “Old Bruce Wayne.” Previously announced guests for the crossover include Brandon Routh as Superman, reprising his role from Superman Returns, and 1960’s “Robin” Burt Ward.
It seems almost like the Crisis on Infinite Earths architects are determined to give us all of the names listed in our KryptonSite April Fool earlier this year…
Crisis on Infinite Earths will start in late 2019 and continue with a few hours at midseason. The shows involved include Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman, and we now know that crossover will also feature at least an appearance by Black Lightning.
