Although recent streaming events and positive-sounding meetings made it sound like NBC’s adaptation of the DC/Vertigo comic book John Constantine: Hellblazer, titled Constantine, might have a chance at a second year, Executive Producer Daniel Cerone has now confirmed it is at least not in the cards for NBC, at least.
“NBC a ‘no’ for Season 2,” the show’s Executive Producer, Daniel Cerone, Tweeted today. “Warner Bros working hard to find #Constantine a new home. Stay active. Stream. Tweet.”
Warner Bros. Television, who produced the show, has indeed been supportive of the series, so here’s hoping they have success. For a time there were rumors that the show might move to Syfy. Maybe a Friday spot on the already-crowded and DC-filled CW? Either way, hopefully there will be some luck for the show, which consistently got better and better with every week. For now, though, here’s Cerone’s tweet:

Did you see Stephen Amell tweet that he’d guest star on Constantine if The CW picks it up? Joseph Morgan said he would, too. #SaveConstantine is getting great support today.
