Desna’s life has been about sacrifice. She had to raise Dean by herself on not a whole lot of money and she got into bed with the Dixie Mafia in order to give herself and her nail salon crew the opportunity at a better existence. The mama bear in Desna would rather die than leave anyone she loves behind or make a decision that solely benefits herself while watching others drown; she knows what it’s like to suffer and the light of prosperity feels that much warmer when she can share it with the ones she loves. But when faced with an impossible decision, just how much will Desna be willing to sacrifice in order to ensure the safety and security of Dean, Virginia, Polly, Quiet Ann, and Jennifer?

Listed below are the dates, titles, and descriptions of the final two episodes of Claws season one.

Sunday, August 6th – “Ambrosia”
With the clock ticking, Desna (Niecy Nash) is scrambling to get out of her worst trouble yet. Determined, she goes searching for the truth with her crew right behind her, save for Jennifer (Jenn Lyon), who is learning how to cope as a Dixie Mafia wife. When Desna’s sleuthing hits pay dirt, she goes to the only person who can save her. Time is running out.

Sunday, August 13th – “Avalanche” (Season Finale)
Following a harrowing escape from Roller’s (Jack Kesy) grasp, Desna is on the run. Roller is close behind, running from the Russians. Dean (Harold Perrineau), Polly (Carrie Preston), and Virginia (Karrueche Tran) frantically search for Desna before time runs out. Meanwhile, Jennifer gets more deeply involved with Hank (Hunter Burke), oblivious to how close her life is to imploding. In the end, only Desna can save Jennifer, Roller, and her crew with a sacrifice greater than any she’s ever had to make.

Claws airs Sundays at 9:00 on TNT. The series has already been renewed for a second season, which should premiere in 2018.
