Smallville’s “Green Arrow” is going to be appearing on Chuck.
Justin Hartley tweeted this morning that he is currently filming a guest spot for the popular NBC series, which enters its fifth and final season later this year.
Here’s what he had to say:
Couple of days on the show Chuck this week. Great people over there. Fun times.
Zap2It has posted that Justin will be playing “Wesley Sneijder,” the “handsome younger brother” to a diamond company boss (played by LOST’s Jeff Fahey) who has been investigated by the CIA for alleged criminal activity.
Hartley’s character of Wesley is a Dartmouth and Oxford-educated anthropologist who has always done his best to stay out of his brother’s business. So, naturally, he gets kidnapped.
So far, the Hartey/Fahey episode will be the second episode of the season.
Hartley is the second major Smalville alum to make an appearance on Chuck. Kristin Kreuk had a memorable multi-episode arc in Season 3.

AWESOME!!! gonna have to watch "chuck" this season. that'd be cool if justin's character suddenly dons a green arrow costume and helps out chuck. that'd be funny!
How great is this. I hope the role leads to a regular cast member. We miss Justin on TV. I definitely will be watching Chuck.
