Laura Vandervoort, who seems to becoming more and more human as the alien Visitor Lisa on V, will be returning to Smallville for an episode set to air in October, as revealed in a report by Michael Ausiello of Entertainment Weekly.

On Smallville, Laura played Kara, Clark’s Kryptonian cousin otherwise known to comic book fans as Supergirl.

When she was last on the series, in the episode “Bloodline,” the show achieved some of its highest ratings of the season. Her character was said to go off looking for Kandorians – who we saw on Earth in Season 9, without a mention of Kara at all.
