No, LOST isn’t continuing… instead, the star who has played Jim on LOST has landed the role of Detective Chin Ho Kelly in CBS’ Hawaii Five-O remake.

The role of Steve McGarrett, originally played by Jack Lord, is still yet to be cast.

This isn’t the first time a Five-O revival has been attempted… back in 1997, CBS tried it with Gary Busey in the lead role. Check out the barely-finished opening titles for that one.

In what might be the most highly anticipated night of television this year, the sixth and final season of LOST begins tonight at 9PM on ABC, preceded by a one-hour “Beginning of the End” special at 8PM (ET).
