HBO has set a Sunday, October 14th premiere date for Jennifer Garner comedy Camping.
From Jenni Konner and Lena Dunham (Girls), who just went their separate ways creatively, Camping follows a group of friends getting together to celebrate the birthday of one of their own. However, what was supposed to be a delightful, back-to-nature camping trip soon becomes an overwhelming experience filled with heightened emotions, latent tensions, and tested marriages.
In addition to Garner, the series stars David Tennant (Doctor Who), Juliette Lewis (Secrets and Lies), Arturo Del Puerto (Independence Day: Resurgence), Ione Skye (Say Anything), Janicza Bravo (Lemon), and Brett Gelman (The Other Guys).
Camping is part of an HBO comedy slate that includes Veep, Silicon Valley, Barry, Ballers, Insecure, Divorce, Crashing, High Maintenance, and Curb Your Enthusiasm. It joins a fall 2018 for the premium cable network that includes acclaimed period drama The Deuce.
