At Home with Amy Sedaris has taught me that part of being a good hostess lies in knowing how to handle the unexpected. If your food burns, if your decorations get torn, if you have too many people – the best hosts always have a backup plan and know that one slip up doesn’t have to ruin an evening. But what happens when the problem with your evening is less social faux pas or poor planning and more…murder?
On the season finale of At Home with Amy Sedaris, Amy is hosting a book club get together during a dark and stormy night that, of course, calls for paella. But when a strange drifter arrives at her door, the possibility of lively discussion and good Spanish food gives way to panic, as a corpse is discovered not long after this intimidating figure makes his entrance. Being that it’s clearly a murder, Amy’s evening will now be spent narrowing down the list of suspects and trying to keep her evening from turning into a complete bust.
The season finale of At Home with Amy Sedaris airs Tuesday at 10:30 on truTV.
How do you think Amy will handle the murder at her book club event? Which of her book club members could be the one to actually solve the murder? Will there be enough paella for this new addition to her evening?
