NBCU announced at its upfront presentation that a limited series centering on the rivalry and friendship between Vogue editor Anna Wintour and Vanity Fair/New Yorker chief Tina Brown will be coming to Bravo.
Based on the Thomas Maier novel Newhouse, All That Glitters is a six-episode tale of Brown and Wintour ascending to the heights of a male-dominated industry and using their newfound status to help change the world around them. The series will chronicle the complicated relationship between the two women and how ultimately they realize that they’re more similar than they are different. There’s no word yet on who will be playing Brown or Wintour, though casting should be announced later this year.
All That Glitters is the latest scripted piece for Bravo, which gotten into the space over the last several years to impressive results. The network’s slate includes Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce, an hour-long dramedy renewed through its fifth and final season; critically praised comedy Odd Mom Out; and con-man caper Imposters, which grew its audience throughout its first season.
