NBC has canceled Bad Judge and A to Z. NBC Cancels A to Z & Bad Judge

It was always part of the plan for NBC to replace Thursday night comedies A to Z and Bad Judge in favor of The Blacklist at midseason, but now, word has come from Deadline that the shows won’t pass their initial 13-episode orders. The shows will, however, stay in their current time slots for the time being.

A to Z - Season 1Both shows struggled in the ratings, but then again, what is to be expected when a show is up against a mega-hit like Scandal?

Bad Judge, starring Kate Walsh, had a bit of a rough go from critics; A to Z, starring Ben Feldman and Cristin Milioti, seemed to be well-liked from the critical contingent.

As both shows are still in production, here’s to hoping the shows get appropriate closure, unless their respective studios want to shop them elsewhere.
