ABC has given a series order to friendship drama A Million Little Things, the network confirmed today.
From D.J. Nash (Growing Up Fisher), A Million Little Things follows a group of friends from Boston who are shaken to the core when one of their own unexpectedly dies. The tight-knit crew are then forced to reassess where they are in their own lives and start really living for the moment.
Something of a hybrid between Desperate Housewives and This Is Us, the series stars David Giuntoli (Grimm), Christina Ochoa (Blood Drive), Romany Malco (Weeds), Allison Miller (Incorporated), James Roday (Psych), and Stephanie Szostak (Satisfaction). It’s the third series order ABC has given for 2018-2019, joining procedurals Take Two and The Rookie.
ABC is set to unveil its fall 2018 schedule Tuesday, May 15th.
