The Results Of Our “Who Should Play Wonder Woman” Poll!

Bridget ReganNews about a David E. Kelley-produced Wonder Woman treatment has been pretty much dead lately, which makes it a perfect time to announce the results of our recent “Who Should Play Wonder Woman” poll.

Editorializing for a moment, I am happy to say that my own personal choice, Bridget Regan of Legend of the Seeker fame, won the poll with 736 votes – over 20% of the total vote.

Smallville Warrior Erica DuranceComing in a strong second was a woman who has shown before that she could wear a Wonder Woman-like getup, Erica Durance. Lois Lane to Diana Prince? If Chris Evans can be both the Human Torch and Captain America, why not? 652 people voted for Erica, putting her in second place.

Third place went to someone who has said negative things about Wonder Woman in the past, so who knows if she’d even go near it. That person is Megan Fox, with 323 votes.

Rounding out the Top Five were Eliza Dushku and Lucy Lawless, who both came near 275 votes each, give or take a few.

Several people also wrote in their favorites using the write-in feature. Getting the most write-ins, more than anyone else, was Days of our Lives’ Nadia Bjorlin.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to participate in this poll. As Wonder Woman gets closer (if it does), WonderWomanTV.com will be the site destination in our network. Go there today and you’ll find a new poll has already been posted!

      LEEE777 @ Fail lol…

Come on ERIN CUMMINS (Sparatus) TAYLOR COLE (The Event) or JODI LYNN O’KEEFE (Prison Break) are all perfect for the role!

Geez these too are pretty much unexpired choices lol! : P

And Megan Fox that slapped WW in the face? GEEZUZ lol.

    2. LEEE777 on Dec 7, 2010 2:13 pm

Thats Two not too lol, oops.

    3. Craig Byrne on Dec 7, 2010 2:18 pm

If those three choices should have been finalists, people would have cared enough to vote for them or they would have been on the initial nominations list.

We should be fair though. You have been pushing for Bridget Regan to play Wonder Woman quite a lot on the site. Don’t you think that possibly (read probably) influenced opinion of the voters? I’m not saying she’s a bad candidate, but this survey is probably a little bit flawed.

    5. Craig Byrne on Dec 7, 2010 10:22 pm

All kinds of “arguments” could be considered flawed. The fact that this site is tied to KryptonSite could be why Erica Durance came in #2. Megan Fox having a following despite no talent could be a flaw that got her to #3. I really don’t think that’s fair – people here are smart enough to make their own choices.

Nadia Bjorlin.Talented and gorgeous.she would rock it

      team durance all the way

I missed this poll. If I had voted, as much as I think Erika Durance would make a great Wonder Woman, it would seem odd that she would play 2 iconic rolls in the Superman world. But I thought it was odd that Justin Hartly started in Smallville as Aquaman and is now Green Arrow.

My choice for Wonder Woman would have been Lucy Lawless. She was my 1st choice many years ago as well, when talk of the movie 1st started. Of course, Linda Carter needs to do a cameo as the Queen of the Amazons.

I would like to see Wonder Woman show up on Smallville, along with a return of Supergirl.

      M. Fox not in this viewers life time I pray. She can’t act-Sex is her only thing she has going for her and could not carry such a demanding and great role. As one judge states or words to this effect–Beauty fades- etc. etc.
Now as for Erica Durance-she has it all-talent, believability, the proven desire to get it right and of course pretty enough to carry the role for the next several years should it take off and become a hit-why not -she has brought many a male to view Smallville-no reason she couldn’t’ do the same here.

    10. leah on Dec 31, 2010 7:18 pm

i think that bridget regan or eliza dushku would be pefect. they look the part, they can act, they can fight and they would do a really good job.

    11. LP on Feb 11, 2011 2:52 pm

Alexa Davalos should play WW. She played Andromeda in the Clash of the Titans, and she looks the part…check it out!!!!!!!!!!!!
