RHI Entertainment has released the first trailer for their upcoming adaptation of the comic book classic The Phantom, which will air on the Syfy channel. It stars Ryan Carnes (Doctor Who, Desperate Housewives) as the latest incarnation of the character.

NBC has finally released some images from the two-hour season premiere of Heroes!

While everyone’s busy talking about Disney buying Marvel Comics and related characters, Warner Bros. has signed Guy Ritchie to direct a movie based on the comic book character Lobo.

The most recent script draft has been written by Don Payne. Joel Silver, Akiva Goldsman, and Andrew Rona will be producing. Steve Richards and Kerry Foster will be executive producers.

Warner Bros. is aiming for a PG-13 rating, and it is said the film will be strong on visual effects.

Production is expected to begin early next year.
